Clarity not Confusion…

From the point of receiving an enquiry, to the final supply/installation, we aim for total clarity and transparency as to what you’re getting for your money.

 

The Initial Enquiry…

When an enquiry is received, whether it is via the website, our Facebook page or from one of the events where The Creative Chestnut Company was in attendance, you will initially receive a confirmatory email acknowledging your enquiry. This confirmation email will normally also have our current Product Price Lists attached even if your enquiry is for something totally individual and bespoke. The reasoning behind this is because it can often give customers additional design ideas, either for the item that they initially had in mind when they first made the enquiry, or perhaps give them inspiration to use Chestnut elsewhere at their property.

 

Your own design …

In situations where a customer wants The Creative Chestnut Company to produce a design, we normally ask them to provide us with one or more of the following:

  • Some basic dimension requirements
  • If applicable, a simple sketch
  • Photographs showing the location of the proposed installation
  • In the instance of a larger design scheme, requiring a site visit, then a charge may be applicable

Acceptance of the Quotation…

This must always be:

  • In writing or via email
  • Where requested, a deposit will need to be paid in advance by way of cheque or Bank Transfer

Acknowledgement of a customer’s acceptance and deposit is sent out by The Creative Chestnut Company along with a Receipted Invoice.

 

Supply of the Chestnut product…

At the time of acknowledgement, we will advise you of the approximate lead-in period, for when the product will be ready for either collection, delivery or installation.

 

The Installation…

Where The Creative Chestnut Company has quoted to install a product, then an invoice will be issued for that work, with settlement of the invoice due on the day of completion of any installation.

 

Customer Satisfaction…

We always take great pride in our workmanship and customer satisfaction is of paramount importance. We would ask customers not to hesitate to get in touch in the unlikely event of there being any issues with the product or, where applicable, our installation.
